4)The relationship of the girl and her setting displays her submersed in her culture. She is in a Latin American girl in Mexico City.
5) What's happening in this photograph is there is someone making cotton candy on the streets of Mexico City. The little girl is watching this delicious treat be made right in front of her.
6) This story is about a little girl, who is enjoying the sight of hand spun cotton candy in her home country of Mexico, in the main square of Mexico City (Zocalo).

(In Reference to the 2nd Picture)
1) The story captured in this picture is about veterans visiting a Vietnam memorial site in Australia.
2) Each photograph contributes to the overall message. The picture in the top left of the collage shows the actual Shrine of Remembrance. The top right picture shows the veterans gathering on motorcycles. The 2 bottom left pictures are portraits of visiting Vietnam Veterans. Their war medals are shown in the pockets of the man in the first portrait. They are again displayed but close up in the picture on the bottom right.

Activity 3 Part 2
Activity 4 Part 1
(In reference to the middle photo)
1) This story is about a son who watches is grandfather die but then turn into an angel right before his eyes. He watches him fly away to heaven.
2) I believe the process of telling this story would be less effective if less pictures were used.
3) If I had to choose a picture to eliminate it would be the second to last picture.
4) I would choose this picture because the boy is looking out the window in the final picture, so it can be assumed that the old man leaves through the window.

Activity 4 Part 2
I have a repeated dream in which I'm looking at my dog and he morphs into the faces of my favorite people. In this series of photographs, my dog morphs into my cousin, then my nana, then my father. Using blending modes on photoshop, I gradually transformed my dog into these faces.
Activity 5 Part 1
Activity 5 Part 2
Activity 5 Part 3
1) My idea for this story was to capture my sister's after school routine.
2) My editor, Maryrose Hahn, selected five pictures that matched my vision of an "after school routine".
3) My editor adjusted the colors and lighting in my pictures. The way she edited them really enhanced the colors. Riley's purple sweatshirt really pops and it makes her stand out as the subject of the images.
4) I love the way my editor chose to enhance my pictures. The bright colors really attract my eye.
5) I don't love the idea of having an editor to make decisions for me. I like being in control and having the power to make my own decisions. However, Maryrose makes a great editor because I trust her with my heart. She made great decisions with my pictures.
6) I would have chosen the same exact pictures of Maryrose. (See the gallery above)
7) I would chose the same pictures because the 5 photos she chose really capture the essence of what it's like to be a student after school. My sister's routine is greeting her dog, grabbing a snack, and getting down to work (especially during midterms week).
